Andy Seibel Legacy Fund
Andy Seibel has dedicated his entire career to developing students and supporting the FFA. Considered a second father, mentor, and friend by countless individuals, Andy is recognized for superior work ethic, integrity and commitment to others. An agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor for 16 years, Andy then went on to become Virginia’s FFA Executive Secretary for 13 years before working in dual support roles for both FFA and 4-H with Virginia Cooperative Extension. Throughout his career, Andy’s students have received over 300 state and national awards, he has supervised more than 100 state officers, and he has inspired many future ag teachers. Serving the National FFA in various capacities resulted in receiving the VIP award in 2011. Although his teaching service has been recognized multiple times, Andy is quick to gloss over those successes, turning the attention to those that support him instead. This legacy fund will support some of the invaluable personal connections we have in the FFA by providing funds for annual gatherings of Retired Ag Teachers and Past State FFA Officers.
